Polis Books is thrilled (naturally) to announce the acquisition of an exciting new project, co-edited by two of the brightest minds in the crime fiction field. From Publishers Marketplace:

Editors Jason Starr and Chantelle Aimée Osman's SERIAL KILLER, a thriller in stories and contemporary retelling of TEN LITTLE INDIANS, about a group of strangers who end up at a Hamptons house for a summer weekend, only to learn that one of the houseguests is a murderer, with contributors including Starr, Patricia Abbott, Rob Hart, Mary T. McCarthy, Dave White, Alex Segura and more, with the stories to be published in bi-monthly ebook installments beginning in Fall 2016 with an expanded print edition to follow in Summer 2017, to Jason Pinter at Polis Books.

In addition to the digital stories and print edition, SERIAL KILLER will also be supported by numerous multimedia components, including podcasts, videos, and live readings. And more contributors will be announced shortly.

Jason Starr is the internationally best-selling author of many
crime novels and thrillers, and his books have been published in over a dozen languages. He has also co-written several novels with Ken Bruen for Hard Case Crime, and his work in comics for Marvel, D.C, Vertigo, and Boom! Studios has featured Wolverine, The Punisher, Batman, Doc Savage, The Avenger, Ant-Man, and The Sandman. Many of his books are in development for film and TV. Starr's best-selling crime novels include Nothing Personal, Hard Feelings, Tough Luck, Twisted City, Lights Out, The Follower, and Panic Attack. He is one of only several authors who have won the Anthony Award for mystery fiction multiple times. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lives in Manhattan, NY. Chantelle Aimée Osman is a freelance editor, consultant and former lawyer. She teaches writing across the country, and is faculty at the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing. The author of the non-fiction series on writing THE QUICK AND DIRTY GUIDE TO… she has also published numerous flash fiction and short stories. She is Editor of the RT Digital Extra magazine, creator of the Anthony Award-nominated Sirens of Suspense website, and Fan Guest of Honor at LCC 2016. Follow her at @suspensesirens.
