As we try to contain the virus, it has meant the cancelation or postponement of many author events, and the likely drastic reduction of foot traffic into retail stores. This harms thousands of businesses, including those closest to us as an independent publisher: Independent Bookstores.

Indies are the lifeblood of our communities, whether they have been around for decades or just opened their doors. They have been there for us, and we'd like to be there for them. For this reason, we are offering a special promotion to help our indie friends, and allow you to stock up on some great books during these trying times. With that in mind, from now through April 30th, 2020, if you buy 2 Polis Books or Agora titles from 'any' independent bookstore, we will send you a book of your choice absolutely free--and we'll also pick up the shipping tab.

To redeem this promotion:
•Buy 2 Polis/Agora titles from the independent bookstore of your choice. You can order online from most indies, and even if they don't have a specific book in stock they can easily order it for you.
•Email your receipt/confirmation to [email protected] with the subject line 'Indie Promotion'
•In the body of the email, include which title you'd like for free,
•You may select any already-published book, in any format. If you select a print title, let us know the address where it should be shipped. If you'd like an ebook, let us know your email address and preferred format (ePub or Mobi). Any information provided will be used solely for fulfilling this promotion and nothing more.
